Stocks Nearest Their Call Wall
The call wall is the strike carrying the most open call contracts at or above the current price. It is where the largest block of upside positioning sits, and it is the level traders usually mean by a “gamma squeeze” setup. These are the names trading closest underneath theirs.

Distance is how far spot sits below the call wall. It is never positive: the wall is defined as the heaviest call strike at or above spot, so a stock that clears one simply gets a new one. Ranked among the 864 symbols carrying at least 50,000 open contracts across the chain.
How this list is built
What the call wall is
The strike at or above the current price with the heaviest open call interest. It often behaves as resistance, because a large amount of the positioning that exists in the name is written against that level. Gamma is what makes it interesting: the closer price gets, the more sharply that positioning reprices.
What we can and cannot see
This is open interest under a sign convention — the number of contracts open at each strike, published by the exchanges. It is not dealer positioning: we cannot see who is long or short any of it, and nobody outside the clearing system can. Read these as levels where contracts are concentrated, not as a measurement of anyone’s hedging.
Why proximity matters more than size
A huge wall twenty percent away is scenery. The same wall half a percent away is the next thing that has to happen. That is why this ranks on distance rather than on contract count, and why the open interest column is there to judge each row against.
The put wall, for contrast
The mirror level: heaviest put open interest at or below spot, often read as support. Each ticker’s max pain page shows both walls together with the strike where the least option value pays out.
